Support with chemical compliance in the European market

REACH is the European Union regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. It has been in force since June 2007 and is an important part of the European framework for the safe manufacture, import, use and supply of chemical substances.

The main objective of REACH is to support a high level of protection for human health and the environment, while ensuring that chemical substances used in the European market are properly assessed, documented and managed.

For chemical substances manufactured or imported into the European Union in quantities of one tonne or more per year per company, manufacturers and importers may be required to submit a registration dossier to the European Chemicals Agency, ECHA. This process can involve technical data, substance identification, exposure information, safety assessment and ongoing regulatory obligations.
