It goes without saying that we are ISO accredited and operate a robust production system based on in-house best practices and high industry standards. Everything is in place to ensure that our customers can rely on the highest possible quality. Furthermore, we continuously work on improving our processes and keep our knowledge up to date, enabling us to provide you with the best possible service, both today and in the future.

ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Standard

Our ISO 9001 certification demonstrates our commitment and ability to consistently deliver products that meet customer requirements as well as applicable laws and regulations. It also underlines our ambition to increase customer satisfaction by effectively applying the principles of the ISO system, including processes for continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and regulatory obligations.

ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental Management System

The AD management gives priority to an effective policy regarding Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality. With the ISO 14001 certificate we demonstrate to our customers that we meet the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard and national environmental legislation. ISO 14001 focuses on controlling and improving environmental performance by implementing and managing an environmental management system within the organization.

Through the requirements of the management system, we have our environmental policy structurally in order. ISO 14001 helps us as a company to further reduce waste and energy costs.

ISO 45001: 2018 Occupational Health and Safety

With ISO 45001, AD International underlines its commitment to the highest standards in occupational health and safety. This international standard helps us systematically identify and control risks, reduce incidents, and ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all our employees.

Ecovadis

Our Ecovadis rating confirms that we conduct business in a responsible manner. Ecovadis evaluates companies across four pillars: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The results provide our customers and partners with transparent insight into our performance in the field of sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

SMETA

AD International is SMETA certified (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit). This is one of the most widely used standards for social audits and assesses areas such as working conditions, health and safety, environmental performance, and ethical business practices. The SMETA certification demonstrates that we comply with globally recognized standards and continuously strive for responsible business conduct.

BRZO Directive (SEVESO III)

AD International is proud to comply with the BRZO directive as an SME company. The European SEVESO directive obliges companies with large quantities of hazardous substances to devote sufficient attention to safety aspects in their operations. In the Netherlands, the SEVESO directive has been implemented in the BRZO 99 regulation (BRZO = Besluit Risico’s Zware Ongevallen / Major Accident Risks Decree). At present, there are just over 400 BRZO companies in the Netherlands. Since June 1, 2015, the new European SEVESO III directive has been in force and implemented in the BRZO-2015 regulation.

Responsible Care

AD International supports the Responsible Care initiative. Responsible Care (RC) is a global initiative of the chemical sector aimed at continuously improving performance in the fields of safety, health, and the environment. Open and transparent communication with stakeholders is also an important part of Responsible Care. The RC program is active in sixty countries, including the Netherlands. As a sector, we aim to use RC to fulfill the key role we see for ourselves in the sustainability of society.

REACH Expertise

AD International has closely monitored developments regarding REACH legislation from the very beginning. Over the past seven years, we have successfully completed several complex REACH projects. As part of our services, AD supports (international) customers with REACH-related issues. Naturally, this means we are always up to date with the latest regulatory developments, ensuring that chemical products are manufactured safely and that our customers are guaranteed access to current knowledge and know-how.
