Our ISO 9001 certification demonstrates our commitment and ability to consistently provide chemical products that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and our aim to continuously enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the principles in the ISO system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental management systems
The management of AD gives priority to an effective policy on Safety, Health, Environment and Quality with the following principles. We see our ISO 14001 certification as a proof of this dedication.
The ISO 14001 environmental management system is a systematic and process driven approach to controlling those aspects of our business that have a significant impact on the environment. The system is proven to make business owners and managers more aware of their environmental responsibilities, including legal and regulatory accountabilities, and being able to manage and control the associated risks. For AD International it demonstrates it’s commitment to ongoing environmental issues, both on a local and national scale. More specifically, it helps reduce our waste and carbon footprint significantly.
SEVESO III (BRZO-2015) Safety management
AD International is proud to be SEVESO III certified.The EU SEVESO directive is implemented in all different EU member states, e.g. COMAH in UK, Störfallverordnung in Germany and BRZO in The Netherlands. SEVESO companies are required to prepare and implement a Major Accident Prevention Policy (MAPP) and Safety Management System to ensure that major accidents are adequately controlled, and to ensure the protection of occupational health and the evironment. In The Netherlands, the European SEVESO III directive is implemented through:
- BRZO 2015 (Hazards of Major Accidents Decree 2015); which includes company obligations of both upper tier and lower tier SEVESO companies; safety policy and management system, emergency response planning etc.

The R&D and Laboratory department comprises of people from various chemical backgrounds, creating a healthy ecosystem for crossovers, that can lead to new insights into both existing and new products. Also the production team of AD International is highly skilled. There is a continuous focus on learning and development. This makes our operators real craftsmen.
AD International has followed the debates and progress of REACH from the early stages and we now have more than seven years of knowledge, awareness and experience to ensure successful REACH implementations.
